Info :       Responsible for calibrating mechanical, electrical and optical measuring equipment, to meet established conformance standards.  Provides supervision of calibration activities, management of NIST-traceable reference standards used to perform calibrations.  Prepare written calibration procedures and ensure their proper implementation as well as oversee calibration activities within the department.  Have the ability to perform all calibrations in accordance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Perform duties in accordance to Amethyst Technologies, LLC Standard Operating Procedures.  Ability to read, understand and be proficient with technical manuals for various equipment types.  Some travel required.

MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC COMPANY
As the Technical Support Engineer, it is your responsibility to support customers as well as Field Service Engineers by troubleshooting laboratory diagnostic equipment and networks via telephone.  The Technical Support Engineer is also responsible for partaking in in-house training sessions on theory, calibration, repair and operation of the equipment. 
REQUIREMENTS
An associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent military education as well as a strong understanding of networking.  Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office is needed.
