Message from the President

Watch out for that Tryptophan,

That's right. This is the November newsletter and that means falling asleep after a particular dinner will happen for many of you. In case you can't figure it out, that's Thanksgiving.

Speaking about giving thanks. I personally want to send out a thank you to Jim Underwood and Welch Allyn for hosting a great meeting. I know there was some hesitation about doing a "north" meeting. Jim lined up Lee Winslow to do a great presentation, and the rest is BMETS history. The information was top notch, the food was good, and the meeting was a success. Thanks again.

I would also like to thank the members who took the time to come out to the meeting. The attendance was about 50 people and I feel the BMETS were well represented. These meetings rely on membership participation in order to continue having companies interested in holding a meeting. Thanks to those members again. I look forward to seeing some old faces as well as some new faces in the future.

I'm still looking for some members who are interested in becoming an officer. Step forward, introduce yourself to one of us, and become familiar with what these positions are all about. The current officers have been fine-tuning their duties and it's not as scary as you may think.

Anyone who is interested in getting an email reminder of the next meeting, please go to the website and send me an email. I will use that address to remind you a day or two before the RSVP date. All you have to do is take the time to respond. Well, that's enough for now. Remember to enjoy life, take time with your families, and try to find time for a meeting.

See ya.
