Volume 21, Number 4________________________________________February, 2003

Message from the President

Minus what?
The temperature has been cold, but luckily not below zero, yet. Let's see what February holds for us.

The January newsletter did not make it out and proper thanks are in order. I first want to start out by thanking Paul Koepal of SENCORE for hosting the November meeting. I think it was a very informative meeting for both SENCORE and the BMETS. Thanks again Paul.

The January meeting was hosted by SIEMENS at Jillian's. Thanks to Sherry Henricks and her guest speaker Jim Keegan, the BMETS second half got off to a great start. Thanks again to Sherry.

The January meeting gave us a real good reason for returning your RSVP. Sherry booked Jillian's for the number of people who responded. The number of people that came was well above that. This is not a problem of attendance, but a problem of planning when people are waiting for food that had to be ordered. This by no means is a reflection on Sherry or SIEMENS, but it is a reflection on the BMETS membership. This is not a good reflection. Taking the necessary action when you get the information on the meeting can solve this problem. RSVP.

The "potential" elections are coming. Dawn said she would run for president. Thanks Dawn. I have not heard from anyone else. Please make it known if you are interested.

Make sure you check the web site and make time for a meeting. Be safe and enjoy life.
